Luminous Woods

This is the perfume of Sila, a region of Calbria, that’s often described as “a Scandinavian Forest with Mediterranean Light.” Scientists have also determined that this region has the cleanest air in all of Europe. I was invited to spend three days at Villaggio Spineto in May 2022. My scent walks here led me to discover olfactory treasures such as wild narcissus, violet leaf, black currant bud, hawthorn (a natural serotonin booster), and freshly scraped ginestra stems, which give off a magnificent fresh green aroma. One whiff of this perfume transports me to Sila’s glowing green birch canopies drenched in mist and light.

This perfume is a collaboration with the conceptual Museum Forest in the Sila Mountains of Calabria, Italy. We hope to make this perfume available for wider release soon!
